Godji Café

Godji is a neighborhood café brand built for regulars, not tourists. Two locations in Ufa, a local under-35 audience, and a brief that asked for something that feels like it belongs — not imported, not generic.

Most neighborhood cafés default to a clean sans-serif and a neutral palette. The goal here was something with more character — a logotype built on the contrast between a delicate script and bold roman lettering, grounded in a palette of deep teal, warm cream, and terracotta. The system had to hold up on a dark storefront and a white paper cup equally well, without any loss of personality.

No illustrations, no decorative detail — just type and color doing the work across packaging, signage, and everyday production materials.
